ANts P2P

A third generation peer-to-peer application.

Self proclaimed by its developer as the third generation of P2P applications, the truth is that ANts P2P is a software application that has a long journey ahead if it really want to become a standard bearer in what regards file sharing. Nevertheless, it doesn't lack options and possibility to accomplish it.

  Among the things that the program promises we will find the total encryption of its transfers, something that due to the legal problems that this kind of networks are having, the users ask for more, it also encrypts any communication that takes place in the internal chat and, of course, it is impossible to track IPs, and even more difficult to try to track personal data.

  In what regards the amount of files and the quality of the connection, the truth is that even if ANts P2P is still not between the most important, it can serve many users, because they will be sure to obtain any download with total security, thus having full certainty that nobody is ever going to know that it has been downloaded  can be a very interesting lure.

  The encryption uses the DH (512) and AES (128) protocols and its development is based on Java, something that gives the interface a charismatic touch in exchange for affecting the performance.

  Note: If installed on Windows operating systems, it only works on Windows XP or earlier versions.
